This is a mini-site within The Energy Conservatory’s e-commerce site store.energyconservatory.com. These pages are coded in HTML using the Bootstrap 4 CSS library. Custom video players were created using plain JavaScript.
Northeaster Newspaper
Built with a custom Genesis theme, this site serves as an events calendar for the Northeast neighborhood in Minneapolis Minnesota. Original news articles are featured as well, via a custom post type and custom templates. Archives of the printed edition of the paper are available as FlowPaper flipbooks. Several ad positions are maintained via the AdRotate plugin. Other major plugins include Meteor Slides, The Events Calendar, and Gravity Forms.
The Energy Conservatory
An existing site was migrated to a more reliable and secure server on WPEngine and set up to serve secure pages. Content from ZenDesk was migrated to the Knowledge Base plugin. The home page has been redesigned extensively using custom plugins for maintaining banners and messages easily. Software downloads were added to the site, using the Easy Digital Downloads plugin. Parrot Consulting, LLC continues to support and maintain the site.
MPLS Storage
Mpls Storage needed to refresh their existing site. The Genesis Executive Pro theme worked well to preset the basic services of this family-owned company in a clean and simple manner. Original artwork created with Sweet Home 3D displays accurate scale models of the various sized storage units and shows examples of what items could fit in each.
